Hello, I’m Mettel, a passionate landscape and cityscape photographer based in Estonia. My love for photography began at a young age, sparked by my family’s small Olympus camera. Over the years, I’ve explored different cameras and techniques, eventually finding my stride with my old friend Nikon D3400 and Sony FX30.

In 2021, a trip to Zermatt awakened my fascination with capturing the beauty of landscapes. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to refining my skills, immersing myself in the natural splendor of Estonia and beyond. Whether it’s the serene grandeur of nature or the dynamic energy of city life, I strive to capture the essence of each moment through my lens.

Production Process

While each photo holds its unique essence, there are essential steps that enhance every image.

Photo Hunting

Research: For a better picture, it’s essential to know exactly what you’re looking for
Taking the camera everywhere: You never know when the perfect shot will appear; those extra two kilos are worth it
Capturing: Every shot starts with the eyes, and then with the camera. Not being a bother to passers-by is another challenge
Enduring: Tired legs and hands are all part of the photography journey

Editing

Sorting: Every good editing session starts with hours of sorting through tons of photos
Basic editing: Basic editing: Adjusting brightness, contrast, and color balance to enhance the overall quality of the image is essential
Cropping: Sometimes pictures need a little extra shaping
Cleaning: It’s quite common for photos not to be as perfect in detail as you’d like
Secret recepy: A little extra love

Printing

Paper selection: Each photo is unique, so it needs special paper. We use special glossy and matte photo paper, as well as specific paper for painting, such as gouache, watercolor, and acrylic
Printing: This step is performed by our Printing Magician, the Epson Ecotank L8180

Delivery

Packaging: Safely packaging each print in special tubes or cases, commonly used by artists, ensures they arrive in pristine condition, ready to be enjoyed
Global reach: With worldwide shipping available via post, prints can reach you no matter where you are
