Curiosity Day
In everyone’s life, there are hobbies that become more than just pastimes – they become true parts of one’s essence. For me, photography and music have always been such passions. In addition to capturing moments and the beauty of nature, I also work as a piano teacher. Music has been a part of my life since childhood, and from an early age, I dreamed of becoming a teacher to share my love for music with others. It’s not just a profession for me, but a true calling that has become an integral part of my life.
Tomorrow in Estonia is Curiosity Day (Uudishimupäev) – a day dedicated to curiosity and the pursuit of new knowledge. In honor of this event, I would like to share with you one of my greatest passions and curiosities.
As a teacher and ambassador of curiosity in the world of music, my message is:
“Music is joy, not competition. I firmly believe that music should bring pleasure, not be part of an endless race. My goal is to help children discover love and self-expression through music, developing their creative abilities and emotions. After all, music opens hearts, not sets boundaries.”
In this post, I would love to share with you some pictures featuring viola player Liron Kaniel from Israel, currently based in Zürich, which we took last winter at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.
